What path has your career taken since graduation?
I did several internships with Allegro MicroSystems where I did analogue design. It was interesting and I could use everything from my studies but I decided to move back to Bulgaria so I couldn't continue on that path.
During my 3rd year of study, I decided to change career path from the field of Civil Engineering to Data Science. I applied to many places in Europe, and got an offer to join Amazon for a data science internship in Luxembourg.
I graduated during the uncertainty of Covid so I was keen to move straight into a career path. I knew I wanted to work in bridges or structures thanks to the summer placements I did during University. I was fortunate to get a job in the bridges team with AECOM in Edinburgh.
